First Manga Comic

As part of my one of my many learning curves in my art work I decided that it was time to do a manga comic! I enjoyed doing this alot, but I had only intended for it to be a quick manga strip with some humour! However as I went on the comic got longer until it turned out to be 3 pages long (and the humour dissapeared with the length ). This in normal terms was not very long but it was alot longer than I had intended it to be. I also decided because of the program (Paint Shop Pro) I was using that I would draw the panels large and then scan them in and arrange them on the page afterwards. This also allowed me to keep having to expand my comic because I didnt know what panels were going where. After more reaserch that I did after making the comic I discoverd that the flow of any comic at all is important and by not arraninging it before I scanned it in the flow I feel was effected and the panel became a bit scatterd on the page. However I had loads of fun designing the characters and although there personaltity may not be portrayed so much though the comic I loved thinking about all the other adventures my characters would have encounterd during there lives. I am hoping as my skills increase that I can revisit the characters and make a better improved comic that involves those two. But I will do a post at a later date explaining what those charecters really were. Even though this is not the best comic in the world I hope you enjoy looking at it and this really was a point that helped improve my art alot... there was alot of trial and error :) X
